Olivia P. Maynard
Regent Maynard is a Democrat from Goodrich. She received a B.A. degree from George Washington University in 1959 and an M.S.W. degree from the University of Michigan in 1971. She is currently president of the Michigan Prospect. She serves as a trustee of the C.S. Mott Foundation and sits on the boards of the Nature Conservancy of Michigan, McLaren Regional Medical Center, the Council of Michigan Foundations, and the Council on Foundations. She is the former director of the Michigan Office of Services to the Aging. She and her husband, attorney S. Olof Karlstrom, have 5 children and 13 grandchildren. She was elected to the Board of Regents in 1996 and re-elected in 2004. |
