Laurence B. Deitch
Regent Deitch, a Democrat from Bingham Farms, received A.B. and J.D. degrees from the University of Michigan in 1969 and 1972, respectively. He is a partner in the law firm of Bodman LLP of Detroit. He has previously served as vice chair of the Michigan Civil Service Commission, president of Temple Beth El in Bloomfield Hills, and treasurer of the Michigan Democratic Party. He was elected to the Board of Regents in 1992 and re-elected in 2000 and 2008. |
